Hi, I’m Val—a mom, movement lover, and proud advocate for balanced, evidence-based wellness for women.
My journey to founding Wellness by Val wasn’t overnight. I’ve spent years studying and working in both exercise science and nutrition, earning my Master’s in Nutrition & Functional Medicine and becoming a Licensed Registered Dietitian, Board Certified Sports Dietitian, and Certified Pregnancy/Postpartum Coach. But it wasn’t until I became a mom in 2023 that everything shifted.
Pregnancy and postpartum opened my eyes to how underserved and overwhelmed women are when it comes to health support in these seasons of life. That fire led me here—to helping other moms feel strong, nourished, and confident in their bodies again. Whether you’re healing postpartum, navigating perimenopause, or simply trying to move and eat in a way that feels good again, I’m here for you.
I believe that food should be enjoyable, movement should be something you look forward to, and being #momstrong isn’t about doing it all—it’s about doing what matters.

I signed up for the pregnancy/postpartum birthfit program with Val about halfway through my second pregnancy and I’m so glad I did. Her easy to follow program helped me connect with my body during pregnancy through different breathing techniques, stretching, pelvic floor & core exercises. I decided to join because even though I had already gone through one pregnancy, I realized I didn’t know or understand much about all the changes my body was going through. I wanted to be more prepared and proactive in my second pregnancy. Val’s program did just that. With the help of weekly group and individual check-ins, easy to follow modules with videos and slideshows of tons of information and exercises, I finally felt in tune with my body prepping for baby #2. I felt strong and also more relaxed. I would definitely recommend this program for any woman, mom or not. Val is so knowledgeable and can help you feel in charge of your pregnancy/postpartum journey.
