An 8-week group coaching experience for moms who want to feel strong, energized, and confident in their bodies again. Inside, you’ll receive guided weekly lessons, core-safe workouts, simple nutrition support, mindset tools, and coaching — all designed to fit real mom life.
A 60-minute session designed to give you a clear, personalized plan—without diet rules or overwhelm. You'll walk away with easy meal ideas, simple prep tips, and sustainable strategies for fueling your body through postpartum and beyond.

Being pregnant for the first time, I had a lot of anxiety about making sure I was doing everything I could to help keep my baby growing safe and healthy. I also had a lot of fear about labor and knew I needed to prepare and train my body for likely the hardest physical feat I’ll ever attempt, but didn’t know where to start. Staying active through exercise was very important to me but there is a lot of different info and opinions out there. Taking this program with Val in addition to working with a pelvic floor PT really helped me to understand how I could continue to move my body safely throughout pregnancy and to prepare for labor. I highly recommend this class, especially for first time moms!

Loved the series and being able to switch up how I attended. I was able to be consistent and complete each class (module) even with a busy baby to take care of. It was such a good balance between taking the time to slow down to focus on the core movements and then being able to ramp up the intensity for a harder workout when wanted. Val made the whole program challenging yet also very mentally healing ❤️🩹 Being 3-4 months postpartum, some days it just felt good to show up and move my body without feeling the pressure that I wasn’t doing enough. Highly recommend :)

This program provided a safe and welcoming space which allowed me to not only get back to the fitness basics with my new postpartum body, but to connect with other women who are going through the same journey. Val is amazing at accommodating every "body", wherever they are at in their pregnant, postpartum, or fitness journey. Prior to the course I knew nothing about pelvic floor health, I thought I did.. but I didn’t. I was also experiencing lower back and hip pain. After taking this program and practicing the exercises daily, I haven’t had either. I can also tell a difference in my pelvic floor function. So happy I enrolled in this! There is so much content out there on pelvic floor health that it’s hard to know where to start. Val did an awesome job leading this course and articulating the movements!

I’m Val—New Mexico native, licensed Registered Dietitian, board-certified Sports Dietitian, certified personal trainer, and momma to one sweet baby girl. I created Wellness by Val to help busy women, especially postpartum moms, feel strong, nourished, and truly supported through every season of life.
With a background in Exercise Science, Nutrition, and Functional Medicine, plus certifications in pregnancy and postpartum coaching, I bring a science-backed, balanced approach to health—and a whole lot of real-life experience.
I believe movement is a gift, not a punishment. That pizza is always worth loving. And that women deserve to feel good in their bodies—no matter how full their plates are (literally and figuratively).
